Who Supports Us

The Independent Voter Project (IVP) is a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization. The Foundation for Independent Voter Education (FIVE) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and a publisher of IVN.us. IVP and FIVE are sister organizations supported by a broad spectrum of individuals, corporations, and labor organizations.

Individual Donors

More than 4,200 individual small donors that have contributed to our efforts.

Our contributors include voters from all across the spectrum - conservatives, liberals, Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, Greens, and independent, unaffiliated voters.

Individually our donors, like our Board, are diverse. We disagree over public policy positions, candidates, and even our ideas on how to fix an unrepresentative electoral system.

What we share is the belief that the right to vote is fundamental to citizenship and that this right should not be abridged or conditioned based upon an obligation to join any organization.
